The studio · Ironbridge, Shropshire
Since 2013 Gareth has built and managed over 100 websites across the UK and Northern Ireland, all of it designed from Ironbridge. We are small on purpose: you always know who is working on your site, and you can always reach them.

Who you will work with
Gareth and Ben.
Gareth Day founded Ionic and designs and builds every site. He is the person you talk to from the first conversation onwards, and he also coaches owners on the digital side of their business through our digital business consulting.
Ben Morris looks after content, social media marketing and the day-to-day of keeping client sites moving.
Two of us means reliable and personal: nothing stops when one of us is away, and you never explain your business to a stranger. See what that is like in our client reviews.
How we work
What you can count on.
Made by hand
Every site is designed and built by us, for the business in front of us. We put our name on the work, so it has to be good.
Straight answers
Plain English, clear quotes and honest advice, including when the right answer is a smaller job than you expected.
Here for the long run
Most of our clients stay with us for hosting, care and SEO for years. We plan every site on that basis.
Local, and UK-wide
A coffee in Ironbridge if you are nearby, a video call if you are not. Clients from London to Northern Ireland work with us the same way.
Why the bridge
Built to hold up.
The Iron Bridge was cast in 1779 and people still cross it every day. We work in its shadow, and it sets the bar: build things properly, and they last.

I reached out to Gareth when our charity website needed an update. He has worked with me to produce a much improved site that works across multiple devices and has the functionality to donate, sell tickets for events and run a small shop … he has continued to help with small changes after the job was completed.
