Policy

This policy explains the cookies this website uses, why we use them and how to change your choices. For how we handle personal data more widely, see our privacy notice.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. The rest are only set if you agree to them.

Your choices

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. Until you choose, only strictly necessary cookies are set, and no analytics or advertising tags load. Reject All keeps them off.

You can change your mind at any time with the round button at the bottom left of every page, or here: Change your cookie choices. If you choose Reject All, the page reloads, the tags stop straight away and the cookies they set on this site are deleted.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies means the site cannot remember your choices.

The cookies we use

Strictly necessary

Set by our consent tool, CookieYes, to remember the choices you make in the banner. They do not identify you, they last for one year, and they do not need your consent.

Analytics, only with your consent

Google Analytics 4 counts visits and shows us which pages are used, how people arrive and which devices they use, so we can improve the site.

Advertising, only with your consent

When we run adverts on Google, Facebook and Instagram, the Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel record that you visited the site and whether you sent an enquiry through one of our forms. We use this to measure which adverts work and to show our adverts to people who have visited the site.

Accepting analytics alone never sets advertising cookies. Meta also sets a cookie called fr on facebook.com, which we cannot delete for you; you can control it through your Facebook settings or your browser.
